About

#Every1KnowsSome1 (Domestic Violence Awareness Month) and #GiveForDV (GivingTuesday and end-of-year fundraising) work together to amplify impact through consistent messaging across our awareness and fundraising efforts. We want the issue of domestic violence to rise above the noise.

The goal of these two joint initiatives is to raise awareness, increase donations and volunteer efforts, and deepen community engagement by connecting our work nationwide.

Domestic violence coalitions and programs are critical to building #Every1KnowsSome1 and #GiveForDV into a larger movement to mobilize charitable support for domestic violence programs at the local, state, territorial, and national levels.

By uniting our efforts through the same hashtags and simple messaging throughout October, November, and December, we’re building the case that Every1 has a part to play in supporting our work to end domestic violence, every day throughout the year.
